It's been a busy week!

I can't believe it's been almost a week since my last blog....you can probbly guess I have been busy..I worked all week and also had French class at night.

Tuesday, I worked in the Paris office during the day, ran off to french class after a long day and then came home and worked for the NY office on my computer.
When it rains it pours.

Thursday after work I had the worst commute home. I waited on the platform for 5 trains...all which were to full to get on....so I finally decided to walk to another station, got lost along the way, found another station 30 minutes later only to have to wait for 3 more tains.
The last one which I finally got on but not without the door closing on my wrist.
But no damage thank goodness... just felt very irritated all the way home.
I was starving when I got back to the neighborhood  1.5 hours later only to find all the shops where I needed to get food were closed.
Really, France?
Come on!

And considering it was Higgins 3rd birthday I decided right then and then we were going for a steak at Au Reve.

Happy Birthday, Higgins!!!!

This dessert was mainly for me :)

And I found my new favorite dessert...Cafe Gourmand..because it has lots of desserts in one!!!!

Considering I never eat out this was a nice treat for me.

And I know what you are thinking, Grandma....this is why my tooth hurt last week but sometimes you have to live on the wild side!!!

My dad asked me last week if everyone here was fat...and I said no...it's amazing..and he said, "Well, you know Americans...if it doesn't move they will try to eat it."

He also said, "Do you know anyone named Pierre?"
I said, "Yes."
He said, "Is he gay?"
I said, "No."
And he reliped, "Well, he should be with a name like that."

OH, DAD ;)
(thanks for always making me laugh)

Tonight I am going to another birthday party for a friend in the neighborhood. Everyone is supposed to bring a funny picture of themselves. I have tons of funny pictures but no printer in Paris so I have to improvise.

Finally that extra passport photo has come in handy.

Ok, time to get ready!
