coffee break French

Last night I treated myself to filet mignon and wine at a cafe with live music. It was awesome. The woman singing was the female version of Seal. Afterward, I walked around the neighborhood with Higgins and forced myself to sit outside at the busiest, most intimidating cafe. After a drink, it was not so scary. Kudos to myself.

I could not sleep last night. I don't know why...so I woke up at 6.30 am and cleaned the apt although it still looks like a tornado sweep through.

Around 8.30am I walked Higgins to one of the many cafes...I'm trying a new one everyday...and ordered coffee and a croissant. Mainly because I have no idea what the menu says.  Now back at my flat, I am doing a little work and listening to a French language for beginners podcast. However, the teacher is from Scotland and I am having a hard time understanding his English. lol

I left my camera card reader back in NY. So as soon as I can upload photos, I will....many to show already....hoping to venture to one of the many dog friendly parks later this afternoon.
