The Royal Wedding and today in general

This morning I woke up at 5:30am.

I have no idea why but could not sleep.

So I had some coffee, worked on the computer and studied French.

Around 7am I took a stroll through the hills of the neighborhood. I discovered this is the best time for a walk because there are no tourists and the light was beautiful.

I will definitely do that again. 

Only problem was waiting for the bakery to open to get my almond croissant...Paris is definitely a sleepier town then NY.  I had to wait until 9am!!!

But worth the wait. 

I still am not pronouncing it correctly because the woman repeated it again as a question but I thought it sounded exactly like what I said. How can the word almond sound so weird in French. 

It's an almond!!!

Afterward, I went to the supermarket to prepare for the Royal wedding. 

I didn't realize how excited I really was until I turned on the t.v.

It was all in French but very beautiful.

Did anyone catch David Beckham. He looked amazing!

I almost had a heart attack.

I prepared a small spread for the event for both Higgins and myself.

Great Friday so far and the entire night is ahead of me.
