I'm a little sad it's the last day in my apartment before I move down the street with my French friend Sophie.
She is very sweet but there is nothing like living alone. At least I found a new place and I am staying in the same neighborhood so I don't have to start all over again.
THANK YOU THANK YOU
Before I left NYC for Paris, I experienced one of the hardest times in my life. I lived out of my suitcase for a few months too long... moving from sublet to sublet or couches of friends (thank you friends!!!)... it was a low period for me. And every time, and I mean every time I had to move from one place to another, NYC would have a snow storm.
Tomorrow morning I will literally wheel my suitcase two blocks down the street and voilĂ !
And I will live even closer to Au Reve.
Literally, a dream come true.
I can't believe 6 weeks ago I was in NYC getting ready to leave for Paris. I just came across the invite my friend Cadillac made me for my bon voyage party.
It's a classic.
Oh, how I would love Mexican food right now.... ;)
Tonight I will probably throw myself a solo wine and cheese party to celebrate the fact I made it here and have come this far.
We always tend to complain about what we don't have, but I truly have a lot to be thankful for right now.
And I am going to make sure I never lose sight of that.
