It's been a while.....Je suis désolé.

I am sorry it has been a very busy two weeks!!!

I was supposed to work at the Paris office for two days and it turned into 9. 

Great!

The boss wants to meet me for a drink in the next week or so to talk about work. This sounds good to me. Although we will be joined by a third person who speaks English because the boss does not. This is pretty common in the office.

My experience overall was very positive. The first coupe of days I felt like it was my first day at a new school... especially around lunch time because everyone eats together everyday like a family. It's cute.

I was nervous walking in wondering, who am I going to sit with but everyone made me feel at home. Friday they were speaking in French about another co worker who has been sick for two weeks (I think that's what they were talking about ;) and a woman motioned to me they were gossiping. I said it's probably better I don't understand. They laughed.

Last night after work I did not have any plans because Monday is another holiday here and most people have left for the weekend. But it was a beautiful night so I decided to have dinner by myself.

I ate at the bar at Au Reve and spoke with the owners. It was relaxing and nice to sit quietly eating chocolate cake and crostini.

This morning I slept in a little bit but still feel tired. I walked into the kitchen and look what's outside the window...this woke me up...

I got a little too close and the pigeon flew away....

My roommate told me last year there were two eggs and it only takes about a week for the egg to hatch...I will keep you posted.

Pigeons in NYC were disgustingly dirty but here they kind of cute. Much more colorful and less intrusive.

So, today is kind of chilly but nice. I think I will study French first because I am way behind and then off to explore a new park.
