The weekend!

Yesterday I worked from half past 9 until 10pm....wow!

We had a big job at BPONG and one of the retouchers was sick so I filled in for the week.

Overall, it was a great experience. Everyone was really nice to me and enjoyed the people I met very much. (My English is just getting more weird the longer I stay here...bare with me ;)

A few times some coworkers were speaking in French and then asked me...do you understand? I said yes, you were talking about seafood from Barcelona..they said no...we were talking about flights to Barcelona..okay, one out of two is not bad?

I must study a lot today. ;)

Today is Saturday and I have already taken my morning walk, had a coffee (ok, two) studied French, and now deciding what to do.....hmmm

I have been asked by one of my blog followers (that's you Dark and Stormy) to comment on the DSK case.

Well, here it goes. 

A French friend of mine told me he was happy he got caught in NYC because if the same thing happened in France (which supposedly it has) he would not be prosecuted. This made me sick. Overall, the French are very disappointed in him because they had high hopes for him but I think they are also not very surprised. It's not a big secret that the French have a reputation of being very "busy" with the ladies if you know what I mean.

There is also a law here that people who are arrested are not allowed to be shown in handcuffs on television. The French believe this makes them look guilty before they have even had a trail. I found this very interesting.

Other than that, I think the French are embarrassed either by his actions or the fact that he got caught but they all agree he is finished. 

Time will tell.

I have a feeling money might be the curve ball in this case.

But what do I know?

Obviously, not much about flights to Barcelona.

Which, coincidently I will be going there in a week and a half.

OMG!

On another note,  I saw this ad for a hospital on the side of a building this morning.

A hospital with clowns????

I think I will make sure I don't get sick anytime soon.

Maybe those clowns are the ones driving those small cars I see everywhere.

I still want one...minus the red nose.
